Eye floaters are, of course, the strands and specs that sufferers experience swimming in their field of vision. When they start, here are the stages we experience…
1. Fear: Initially, many worry about potential sight damage. Rest assured, once properly checked, eye floaters rarely lead to serious complications.
2. Frustration: The prospect of living with floaters can be overwhelming. It's a valid concern that deserves understanding and support.
3. Forget: For many, floaters become less noticeable over time as the brain adapts or they sink out of view.
4. Fixation: In some cases, particularly intense or numerous floaters can remain such a persistent challenge that you may have to consider treatment options.
Understanding these stages can help you navigate your experience with eye floaters with less anxiety and worry.

Remember that most eye floaters will not become a constant annoyance or cause any harm to your eyes.
However, new cases of eye floaters, with flashes should be investigated as soon as possible, don't hesitate to schedule an eye examination. This may not be normal eye floaters.
